Most of the Uganda Safari lodges listed here offer the perfect setting to relax after your safari experience. Located in different parts of Uganda, the lodges have been built locally with a touch of African Tradition & Culture e.g. wooden cottages, tree houses & cottages, Bandas, tented camps, etc. The Staff at most of these lodges are so welcoming, and have a ‘big heart’. They are committed to making every tourist’s stay comfortable and worthwhile.
Accessibility to the lodges is by the Tour Company/operator or through the lodges’ management once you have made a booking. A quick review can be done on Trip-advisor or Facebook and most, if not all of the lodges on this page have quite a number of good feedback from the people who have already visited. Payments using VISA, MasterCard, and American Express are also accepted at some of the lodging facilities which makes it easy to pay for an extra service. Other services offered include Gym, Wi-Fi, Spa & Massage, Yoga, Craft shops, Porters etc.
Uganda has a lot to offer from the stunning lushness of the national parks combined with spectacular landscapes, so sit back, relax and enjoy one of Africa’s most memorable visitor experiences.
Accommodation is in different categories i.e. Standard, Comfort, and Luxury.
Standard – For travelers with a low budget, the Standard accommodation facilities would be recommended as they are cheap and very affordable. For as low as $50, you can get a nice safari lodge with ordinary tents or non-self-contained rooms. Meals are on a full board basis i.e. Breakfast, Lunch & Supper. The rest of the activities on the trip don’t change price according to the budget you have.
Comfort – For a traveler that has a mid-range budget, a Comfortable accommodation facility with Self-contained rooms, Bandas, and permanent safari tents is ideal. Quite a number of Safari lodges fall in this category and prices can be as low as $100 or $150. For a travel agent/ writer/blogger coming to Uganda /Rwanda for the first time – this suits your stay as you get to be comfortable and at the same time not into a heavy budget.
Luxury – Any Tourist/Traveler with a high-end budget would opt for a Luxury accommodation facility that includes Hotels, Resorts, Safari lodges, Forest Camps, etc. with a variety of services. This is suitable for honeymooners, Vacations, holidays, or anyone who wishes to relax amidst an African setting. Most Luxury lodges start from $500 up to $1500 per night or even higher depending on the type of lodge & location.
