This 5-day Uganda Gorillas & Wildlife Holiday takes you on a wonderful trip to see classic savannah wildlife and mountain gorillas.

You will see savannah wildlife such as elephants, lions, leopards, hippos, and more, as well as the endangered mountain gorillas of Bwindi.

The trip starts from Kampala and goes to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will see the animals on a game drive as well as a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel. You will then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will hike through the thick forest for your encounter with one of the habituated gorilla families in the park.

You will end your trip by driving back to Kampala with interesting stops along the way.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

It is gorilla tracking day and you will wake up early to have breakfast and be at the park offices at 7:30 am. You will be briefed by the Park rangers on all the procedures before you can start your trek.

In groups of 8 and the rangers, you will go into the forest in search of the mountain gorillas that call this dense rainforest home. Whereas the gorilla trek can be quite challenging, meeting the gorillas will make all that sweat certainly worth it.

Upon finding the mountain gorillas, you will spend one (1) hour with them after which you will be led back to the starting point by the park ranger. The gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact.

You will spend your afternoon relaxing at the lodge and enjoying the views of the forest.
