Saruni Wild – Masai Mara N.R

On the border of Lemek Conservancy and Mara North Conservancy in the Masai Mara plains sits a luxurious tented camp-Saruni Wild. The camp is surrounded by acres of unspoiled nature, giving it an atmosphere and experiences that are typical of the Masai Mara. The camp is cozy and equipped with all the modern amenities needed in the wilderness.

The camp provides lodging in elegantly decorated tents. The camp features one family tent and two double tents. Each tent features an en-suite bathroom with a hot shower and a flushing toilet.

The tents also have large verandas with stunning views of nature. Solar energy is used to power the communal “mess” tent, but not the bedroom tents. While in camp, visitors are urged to charge their phones, cameras, and other electronics in the mess tent. Additionally, the camp advises visitors to bring their universal adapters and converters.

Saruni Wild’s cuisine is Italian-inspired and prepared using fresh, local ingredients as well as some imported products. There is communal dining under the star-lit sky hosted by the Saruni guides. These meals are planned and prepared to fit guests’ needs.

Enjoy uninterrupted views, guided bush walks, migration river crossings, and game drives led by Maasai guides with extensive experience. The guides share their ancient wisdom, local knowledge of the animals, and the wildlife reserve.

Saruni Wild is the ideal setting for the ‘Warriors Academy program. This is where guests spend a few days learning the survival skills of the Maasai warriors including tracking animals and crafting tools on the Masai Mara plains. This is an especially fun activity for families with children.

Hot air balloon safaris, cultural visits to nearby Maasai villages, a variety of spa treatments, and drives to Mount Kilileoni are also available at the camp. The camp also has a gift shop where guests can buy unique local artifacts.
