Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge was one of Kenya’s first national park lodges. The classic volcanic stone lodge is located in the heart of Tsavo West National Park’s Chyulu Hills. The lodge offers breathtaking views of Mt Kilimanjaro and the rolling volcanic landscapes of the deep green Chyulu Hills.
Kilaguni’s accommodations range from standard rooms to deluxe suites. Natural stone walls, locally inspired furnishings, fabrics, and artwork beautify the spacious accommodations. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, a mini bar, a safe, a hairdryer, and a private veranda with views of the water hole or the Chyulu Hills. The central dining room and the outdoor rock-built bar are both beautifully designed and decorated in the local style. The dining room has a stone terrace with views of the wildlife-filled water hole. The bar has comfortable day beds with gorgeous views of the rolling Chyulu Hills.
Enjoy locally sourced seasonal cuisine in the dining room, or relax with your favorite beverage at the bar or daybed. Themed nights with specialties ranging from pasta and Mongolian-style stir-fry, BBQ, and spiced roast to Kenyan favorites. Special dietary needs can also be accommodated.
For the convenience of its guests, the lodge also has a swimming pool and sundeck, as well as a gift shop and business center.
