9 Days Wildlife & Primates Safari in Uganda. With chimp & gorilla tracking

9 Days / 8 Nights

Overview

This wildlife and primates Safari takes you on a wonderful 9-day trip to see the wildlife, chimpanzees, and gorillas of Uganda.

The trip starts off with a visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where you will get to track rhinos and other wildlife on foot. You then proceed to Murchison falls National Park where you get to see more animals such as lions, giraffes, elephants, hippos and so much more.

Your next stop after Murchison is Kibale Forest National Park, affectionately called the primate capital because you will see chimpanzees as well as more than 10 other primate species. Kibale is also great for birds and you will see some special ones before continuing to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

In Queen Elizabeth, you will enjoy the game drives and boat cruises that enable you to see many animals up close in their natural ecosystems. You will see hippos, elephants, lions, buffalos and so many birds before you continue to Bwindi Impenetrable.

Bwindi Impenetrable National park is known for the endangered mountain gorillas it protects. You will hike through Bwindi’s thick jungle with a knowledgeable ranger who will lead you to the gorillas and teach you everything about the gorillas and their forest home.

From Bwindi, you will return to Kampala where this safari program ends. This safari package takes you on one of the most popular routes for Uganda safari-goers and can work well for both small and big groups.
