This 1-day Ngamba Island chimps tour takes you to visit the rescued chimpanzees of Ngamba Island in Lake Victoria. The Sanctuary takes care of orphaned or injured chimpanzees from the wild and offers them a new natural habitat of lush rainforest.

There is a whole host of activities you can enjoy including overnight excursions, fishing, Ngamba trail hike, sunset cruise, caregiver, and more. You get to choose what you want to do.

This day tour is ideal in cases when going to see chimpanzees in Kibale National Park is not possible and yet you would love to meet chimpanzees in a natural environment.

Day 1: Ngamba Island Chimps Tour

Your 2 Days Ngamba Island Tour guide/driver will pick you up from your place of residence or accommodation and then drive to Entebbe at the starting point for a boat trip to the Ngamba Island. Once you get to the Chimpanzee sanctuary you will have a lot of activities to choose from.

You will enjoy a full day with the chimpanzees learning more about their feeding experience and their behaviors.

Finally, in the evening we shall transfer back to Entebbe and then Kampala. You will be dropped off at your hotel/residence in Entebbe or Kampala, to mark the completion of your tour.

Accommodation: None. (The tour starts and ends on the same day).
