This 2 Days River Nile Rafting Whitewater Rafting Jinja (Uganda) Safari Tour starts in Kampala and takes you to Jinja where you get to experience the adrenaline rush of white water rafting on the rapids of the Nile.

Along the way, you stop over at Ssezibwa and Mabira forest before continuing to Jinja. Ssezibwa falls is one of the Buganda cultural heritage sites and Mabira forest is Uganda’s biggest natural forest with quite a good number of bird, primate and tree species.

Optional activities include ziplining in Mabira forest, quad biking and horse riding along the banks of the Nile.

Here is the full day-by-day itinerary for this 2 Days River Nile Rafting Tour

Day 1: Drive to Jinja via Ssezibwa & Mabira. Visit the source of the Nile

Your 2 Days River Nile Rafting Tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Kampala or your place of residence and drive towards Jinja town stopping by the famous Sezibwa falls – a Buganda cultural heritage site.

Continue driving to Mabira forest which is 54 km away from Kampala. Go for a forest walk to see the various bird species and other mammals in the forest.

Afterward, head to Jinja town for Lunch. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the Source of the Nile – and enjoy the sunset. Check into your lodge for dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 2:White Water Rafting on the Nile, drive back to Kampala.

Today you will prepare for an awesome adrenaline adventure on the river Nile. You will get pre-safety training from the rafting guides on how to handle yourself and a safety boat is always available for those not willing.

This will probably take a full or half-day Nile rafting experience depending on your choice. Also, get to enjoy a BBQ lunch and in the evening transfer back to Kampala.
