Tarangire Sopa Lodge is a luxury lodge hidden among the Tarangire National Park‘s kopjes, ancient baobabs, and grasses. The lodge is located in a serene and peaceful setting and was designed to blend in with its surroundings. The lodge provides guests with a unique blend of comfort and sophistication in the African wilderness.
The lodge’s public spaces include a sizable reception lobby, a lounge and bar, a coffee shop with a variety of Tanzanian highland brews and freshly baked pastries, and a dining room.
A terrace runs along one side of the dining room, providing guests with stunning views of the park’s tree-studded, grassy plains while they dine. The menu features a variety of international and African dishes prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
The lodge has a variety of spacious rooms. Each room has a private lounge, mini bar, mosquito net, large en suite bathrooms, and sheltered verandas with breathtaking views. Four of the rooms are designed for guests with physical disabilities and four of the rooms are interconnected as well.
Tarangire Sopa Lodge also provides a peaceful and comfortable base for guests to explore Tarangire National Park. Guided game drives in the park, nature walks, and visits to local Maasai communities are available to guests. After a day of exploring the park, guests can relax and rejuvenate at the lodge’s swimming pool and spa.
It is important to note that the lodge is not fenced, so wild animals are free to roam. Guards will accompany guests to and from their rooms at night for safety reasons.
