Mihingo Lodge – Lake Mburo N.P

Mihingo Lodge is a luxurious tented camp that has set the tone for other tented lodges in Lake Mburo National Park. It is located on a rocky outcrop and was designed to blend in with the surroundings. Mihingo is ecologically friendly as it uses solar electricity and a natural water collection system for water.

Mihingo Lodge has luxury tented rooms that are tastefully and stylishly decorated. The rooms are spread out around the property in several settings, including near the waterhole, high up on the outcrop, and deep inside the forest.

The unique charm and individuality of each space create the impression of being in the middle of the bush or a light, airy hideaway. All rooms are well-furnished and offer ensuite bathrooms as well as lovely verandas.

A lounge, bar, and dining area are located inside the communal buildings which are built with timber, stone, and thatch. With a selection of coffees, teas, and alcoholic beverages, the cozy ambiance of the lounging area draws guests for evening chats.

The spacious dining area has incredible views of the park and a steady breeze from Lake Kacheera. The exceptional menu offered is a combination of various cultures, herbs, and spices and is offered to each guest in three courses.

You can enjoy delicious food while observing the unfolding nature drama at the saltlick and water hole below. Any dietary needs including vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan, and lactose intolerant ones, can be met by the chef.
