Mahogany Springs Safari Lodge – Bwindi Impenetrable N.P

Mahogany Springs Lodge is a luxurious lodge on a hill overlooking Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It is located in Buhoma close to the Munyanga River and offers breathtaking forest views.

Mahogany Springs features 12 luxury suites surrounded by lovely gardens. Superior suites, honeymoon suites, and a family suite are among the suites available. Each of these has en-suite amenities such as a bathroom, a mosquito net, power outlets, a dressing table or desk, and a private terrace.

The superior suite and honeymoon suite are similar in style, but the honeymoon suite has a larger bed and bathtub.  The family suite, also known as the presidential Suite, can accommodate up to four people. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a separate living room, and a terrace.

The main lodge building has an open-plan lounge, dining area, and bar. The dining room is exquisitely furnished and has panoramic views of the surrounding area. Guests can dine at the restaurant or on the terrace and choose from a variety of dishes.

You can also have a private meal on your suite balcony or by the river. The bar has a range of wines, beers, spirits, cocktails, and soft drinks to cater to everyone. There is also a gift shop where local crafts, clothing, and souvenirs can be purchased.

There is a fire-pit area in the gardens where guests can relax and share stories about the day’s activities. The gardens and stone pathways lead to the river, revealing every corner of this magical place.

Guests staying at Mahogany Springs can go gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Hiking fans will enjoy forest walks while keen birders can expect to see a colorful array of their feathered friends.

Cultural experiences are part of your unforgettable stay at Mahogany Springs Lodge. Meet the local Batwa tribe, visit a healer, or learn how beer is made from banana leaves.

For kids under 15, Mahogany Springs offers a variety of activities with a babysitter since they are not permitted to track gorillas. This will keep them entertained at the lodge while you go gorilla trekking.
