The wilderness of Lake Mburo National Park is home to the magnificent midrange lodge known as Arcadia Lodge. The lodge is situated near the shore of Lake Mburo in scenic acacia woodland.
Make yourself feel at home in one of the self-contained chalets located around the main building of the resort. Each chalet is spacious, well-lit, and constructed in a modern style. They are very well furnished with large bedrooms, and mosquito nets, and are set apart for privacy.
There is a small balcony that is private and has seats so you may see any passing wildlife. Hippos can be heard moving through the camp at night while you lie comfortably in bed and listen to their groans. You can experience the wilderness as it is.
The main bar, restaurant, and reception area of the Lodge are separate from the chalets. Guests can unwind while taking in the breathtaking view from the high deck or savor the restaurant’s delicious dishes. The bar serves a wide selection of drinks including spirits, beers, wines, champagnes, cocktails, and fresh juices.
Most park activities take place near the Lodge. It is the perfect starting point for a game drive around the park or a guided walking safari to get up close and personal with nature. Additionally, the area is great for birdwatching and lake boat tours where you may see hippos and crocodiles.
Guests can unwind after an exhilarating day of safaris by enjoying a refreshing beverage from the bar around an open fire. Impala, warthogs, and the occasional hippos can be seen grazing a few yards away.
