This City Tour starts with a visit to the Uganda Martyrs shrine in Namugongo, a place where 14 of 22 Christian martyrs were burnt alive by King Mwanga in 1886. Also visit the Baha’i’ temple on Kikaya hill – the only Baha’i’ house of worship in Africa and the Uganda Museum which displays and exhibits ethnological, natural-historical & traditional life collections of Uganda’s cultural heritage.

This is an active religious place in the Buganda kingdom and acts as the burial ground for the previous four Kabaka’s.
