The Bush Lodge – Queen Elizabeth N.P

The Bush Lodge is a budget safari camp in the northern section of Queen Elizabeth National Park, bordering the Kazinga Channel. The lodge is built on ecological principles, with bandas designed and spaced to maximize privacy while also enhancing the safari aspect of the lodge.

The Lodge offers accommodation in bandas, self-contained and non-self-contained tents. The bandas are built on a raised wooden platform with a beautiful combination of canvas and grass-thatched rooftops. Each room has a private terrace with a view of the seasonal Kamera river, an ensuite bathroom with running water, a flushing toilet, an outside shower with 24-hour hot water, and two showerheads allowing couples to take a starlit shower together.

For those who prefer more privacy and want to experience the true African wilderness at night, the lodge has two self-contained tents a short distance away. It’s ideal for families, and an extra tent can be provided if necessary.

The restaurant is a large dining tent with a view of the Kazinga Channel and the Rwenzori Mountain range in the background. Expect a fantastic outdoor safari atmosphere and a close-to-nature experience, as well as excellent food and friendly service.

The Bush Lodge is an ideal starting point for your Queen Elizabeth National Park safari activities. It is centrally located in Queen Elizabeth National Park with short distances to most places of interest.

This makes it ideal for wildlife viewing in the Kasenyi plains, chimp tracking in Kyambura Gorge, a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, or watching salt extraction at the Katwe salt crater.
